2021 LCS Championships

lcs teamsPreviously known as the Summer Split Finals, the 2021 LCS Championship pits the top eight teams in NA against each other. Seeding comes from this season’s standings and where teams end on August 1. The big prize here is three spots to the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. With attendance at the biggest League of Legends esports on the line, all ten LCS teams must compete better than ever.

The event itself takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. In addition, the US pandemic situation has improved and fans can finally attend live. Tickets for both days are already up for sale. As of this writing, the finals on August 29 are sold out but tickets are up for the championship qualifiers on August 28. Health and safety guidelines will be strict and set by the Prudential Center.

‘We encourage all ticket-holders to make plans for vaccination against COVID-19 before joining us at the Prudential Center,’ LCS stated. By purchasing a ticket, fans also agree to comply with all Federal, State and Local health and safety protocols when attending the event. As we get closer to the event, we’ll post more detailed information regarding health and safety protocols at the Prudential Center. For a broad overview, you can consult the current Prudential Health and Safety Guidelines.’

League of Legends Esports Standings

Only three more weeks remain to see which eight NA League of Legends esports teams advance to the 2021 LCS Championships and which two don’t continue. So far, Counter Logic Gaming and Golden Guardians are most at risk of not making the championship, tied for last. Just above them are Immortals and Flyquest in seventh and eighth place respectively. They’ll make it in with the current standings but it’s too early to get comfortable.

Who will join TSM FTX and 100 Thieves at the 2021 LCS Championships were the three best move to the world stage? Fans will find out who can lead the NA League of Legends esports scene soon.
