BETBY receives MGA supplier licence

AI-driven sportsbook supplier, BETBY, gets the green light from the Maltese Gaming Authority (MGA).

On August 10th 2020, BETBY was pleased to announce its supplier licence from the MGA, citing it’s “ an important step as [BETBY] looks to expand in regulated jurisdictions worldwide”.

In the article published on their site, Leonid Pertsovskiy (Chief Executive Officer at BETBY), states: “Being awarded our MGA supplier licence is an important step for us as we continue to establish our presence as a leading sportsbook supplier.”

Receiving the MGA licence is part of the strategy of expanding into European markets; which has so far proven successful. A key contributor to achieve such was Eva Berkova, who was appointed the new COO of BETBY in 2019.

Founded in 2018, BETBY is a Maltese based AI firm specialising in flexible and customisable solutions which, in addition, can offer regionalised content. The company also provides marketing tools such as UX-enhancing widgets, and advanced CMS.

While still in its infancy, BETBY has projected a revolutionary approach to sportsbooks. The supplier has also cemented deals with key European operators such as Pokerdom and Avento.

Moreover, BETBY’s recent success and innovative approach has not gone unnoticed. While COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on the sports gaming industry, BETBY saw a silver lining. Amongst the chaos of the pandemic, the AI-driven company offered esports solutions to operators swiftly. This has and continues to have impressive commercial success.

Pivotal deals in this context include a deal dating back to April 2020 with Pomadorro; agreeing on taking “the supplier’s wide range of esports events, which will encompass over 1,000 live daily events”.

BETBY now aims to continue their reach into the European markets, offering a new and unique betting experience.
