BetMGM has announced a multi-year partnership with the Las Vegas Aces, naming the company as the exclusive online casino and sportsbook partner of the WNBA franchise through the 2027 season. This agreement marks BetMGM’s first major collaboration with a professional women’s sports team.
The deal will feature BetMGM’s branding at the Aces’ home court, the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, as well as across the team’s social media channels. Additional perks for BetMGM users include courtside access to pre-game shootarounds and luxury VIP seating.
“As we enter this era of tremendous growth in women’s sports, BetMGM could not have two better organisations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces. Not only do the Aces play in our backyard at Mandalay Bay, but they share our commitment to giving back to the community,” Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM CEO, said.
As part of a broader collaboration, BetMGM has also been named an authorised gaming partner of the WNBA through 2027. The agreement includes commercial inventory during nationally televised games, WNBA tickets and experiences for VIP players, co-branded digital content, and articles featured on the league’s website.
The company also plans to introduce a WNBA-branded online slot game, marking the first of its kind. The slot will be available exclusively on BetMGM’s iGaming platforms in jurisdictions where it is permitted.
“BetMGM is doing just that by offering new and expansive betting markets for WNBA fans. And by partnering with the Aces, BetMGM continues to recognise the extraordinary potential for growth that comes from tapping into the power of women’s sports and the connections fans have to their favourite players and teams,” Colie Edison, WNBA Chief Growth Officer, said.
A key feature of the partnership is the launch of the “BetMGM Steals for Meals” programme, announced on 27 May at the Fountains of Bellagio. Executives from BetMGM, the Las Vegas Aces, MGM Resorts International, and The Just One Project introduced the initiative during a public event.
For every steal the Aces make at home during the 2025 season, BetMGM will donate $50 to The Just One Project, a Nevada-based nonprofit working to combat food insecurity.
“The Las Vegas Aces are proud to partner with BetMGM for many reasons, but especially for the support they will provide to The Just One Project,” Nikki Fargas, Aces President, said. “As one of the best defences in the league the past few seasons, especially in front of our home fans, and knowing that each steal will help families in need, this gives our team even more incentive to lock down our opponents on the defensive end.”
Lance Evans, SVP of Sports and Sponsorships at MGM Resorts International, added, “Since 2018, the Las Vegas Aces have played a pivotal role in our city’s growth as a global sports and entertainment destination. Together with BetMGM, we look forward to hosting gameday events at Mandalay Bay, as well as our other properties, allowing local and visiting fans to interact with their favourite basketball teams.”
BetMGM continues to see increased engagement with the WNBA. The company reported 133 percent year-over-year growth in betting activity during the 2024 season and now offers more wagering options, including player props and odds on the 2025 Commissioner’s Cup. The company has also reiterated its focus on responsible gaming, integrating tools into its mobile and desktop platforms to promote responsible gaming practices.
