Betwinner reinforces its brand with Roberto Carlos as an ambassador

Betwinner has been working in the South American market for years, with the company’s representatives noticing the enormous potential

Roberto Carlos, former Brazilian football player, was announced Betwinner’s new brand ambassador, with an agreement to exclusively represent the brand in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Guatemala City, Ecuador, Cuba, Bolivia, Hairí, Paraguat, and other regions of Latin America.

The former football player, world champion of the Brazilian team in 2002 and past Real Madrid F.C player, declared in his official twitter account ‘I am proud to join the BETWINNER family to offer support and entertainment in Latin American soccer.’

This alliance with the footballer was announced on the 30th June, as a result of the company’s interest in evolving in the Latin American market, focusing on development in this region.

João Vaz, Betwinner’s public relations director, said ‘As we focused our operations on Latin American countries, we were looking for someone who was compatible with all the energy and experience we are about to bring to the local markets in the region,’ continuing on about choosing Roberto Carlos as a representative ‘Roberto Carlos is the right man. We are pleased to announce the start of our two-and-a-half-year cooperation, which will last until the end of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. We are absolutely certain that this period will be very hectic for all our audiences”.

Gustavo Mota, the company’s regional director in Brazil, said that Betwinner has been working in the South American market for years, with the company’s representatives noticing the enormous potential, and encouraging them to invest more in marketing in the second half of 2020, with the example of the partnership with Roberto Carlos as one of the many measures the company will take to enter this market.

The Brazilian world-cup winner Roberto Carlos made a surprise visit to SiGMA’s iGaming conference.  The football legend attended an exclusive dinner as the guest of honour with some of the most prominent innovators, politicians and regulators in the iGaming and blockchain industry.
