Caesars Entertainment announces massive $325m investment

Caesars Entertainment are set to invest $325million to rebrand Harrah’s New Orleans casino under Caesars name

The Harrah`s New Orleans casino will soon have a new look due to the huge investment made by Caesars Entertainment. It is estimated that such an investment will consist of $325m and the re branding of Harrah`s under Caesars name. Such a project which includes renovation and construction is due to be completed by 2024.

Tom Reeg the CEO of Caesars Entertainment stated that the company is extremely excited to introduce such a brand to the city of New Orleans. He further expressed his pride at being the only land base gaming operator in New Orleans with a 20-year history, with Caesars’ commitment to the city of New Orleans being shown through this massive investment.

Drafted plans include a new 340 room hotel tower, brand new culinary and hospitality establishments within a fully functional and modern casino. The building will feature the Roman-inspired architecture on display at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

As a native of New Orleans, I am so proud that we are working with local architects and designers to help enhance an already incredible destination. What was shared today is only the beginning of a transformation that will bring new energy, excitement, and fun to New Orleans.

During the previous year, Caesars was awarded an operating contract that will allow them to run operations until 2054.

Through such a project, it is estimated that the City of New Orleans will benefit form millions of dollars in tax revenue whilst also seeing hundreds of jobs directly linked to the construction of the resort, New Orleans Mayor.

LaToya Cantrell also commented on the importance of such projects and their ability to move and fuel the economic recovery since such venues will be able to entertain residents and visitors alike.

SiGMA Europe:                                                                                                                           

Following the UK’s  December 2020 release of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, SiGMA Group will move its February event to April. SiGMA Europe, which will be based in Malta, will now run from 13-15 April, 2021.
