Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. and the Corinthians join forces in new collaboration
Soccer club and gaming giant Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. have announced a collaboration with the Corinthians as part as a multi-year partnership, in which the brand will become the club’s official partner, with the inclusion of the eFootball logo on the backside of the teams jerseys, and under the Nike logo in its travel counterparts, as well as the brand appearing in the sleeves of the teams jerseys.
Last month, the São Paulo-based team Corinthians also announced a partnership with the sports betting company Galera.Bet, an agreement in which the betting company would become its new sponsor, and would make the club an estimate of $7.4m over the following five years of activity.
As with the Galera.Bet agreement, the fans will be able to take part in the aesthetics of the teams agreement, being able to choose the sponsors logo name on the club website, like they did with Galera.Bet´s logo in the past, with the options being Coringao.bet, Alvinegro.bet and Fiel.bet.
Andrés Sanchez, president of the Corinthians, said, “Our working relationship with Konami so far has been extremely successful from a licensing perspective. We are very excited about the expansion of this partnership and we welcome them as our new official sponsor.

President of Konami Digital Entertainment Inc, Takayuki Kubi, also mentioned the recent announcement, saying: “Corinthians shows how football navigates between cultures and generations, and we are proud to be an official sponsor of this extraordinary team,” “This new chapter in this joint venture will offer new experiences to our fans and will allow us to reach new fans through PES.”
With this couple of partnerships in the past two months, the Corinthians grow its presence more and more as one of Brazil´s most relevant soccer clubs.
