The government in Denmark has announced the extension of the nationwide closure on gambling venues until 5 April

Originally, gaming venues were eager to open their doors at the start of 2021 after being shut since December 2020. However, a surge in the number of COVID-19 positive patients ignited several delays.

The Danish health and Medicines Authority proclaimed that the recent easing of certain measures, casinos and other gaming venues will stay closed until 5 April at the latest.

In recent news, the Dutch Gaming Authority finalised its guidelines ahead of online gaming launch and mobile sportsbooks and online casino lead regulated gambling revenue growth for 2020.
