Known as a vibrant casino city with world-class infrastructure, Macau is set to provide an electrifying atmosphere for this high-stakes tournament.
The top four teams from two groups will compete in the semi-finals on March 7. The winners will advance to the championship game on March 9, while the losing teams will face off for third place. The champions will receive USD 1 million, the runners-up $500,000, and the third-placed team $250,000.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on February 7 at noon CST via the Studio City website.
The EASL has partnered with Melco Resorts & Entertainment to host the games at the Studio City Event Centre, which recently held the Macau Classic in December. The 4,150-seat arena hosted matches featuring teams such as New Taipei Kings, Taoyuan Pauian Pilots, Suwon KT Sonicboom, and local favourites, the Macau Black Bears.
Henry Kerins, Chief Executive Officer of EASL, said, “Asia’s best teams will battle it out in EASL’s Final Four 2025, right here in Macau. This is the Champions League of Asian basketball with outstanding talent, prime-time action, and unmatched energy. It doesn’t get better than this.”
He added, “Macau’s modern infrastructure and passionate fan base make it the perfect destination to host this high-stakes event, and we can’t wait to see the energy it will bring to the region.”
Melco’s senior vice president, Kevin Benning, added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with EASL to bring top-tier Asian basketball matchups to Studio City once again.”
The Hiroshima Dragonflies and Ryukyu Golden Kings, reigning champions and runners-up of Japan’s B.League, have already secured spots in the Final Four after topping their groups. They aim to succeed Japan’s Chiba Jets as EASL champions.
In Group A, Hong Kong Eastern kept their hopes alive with an 84-74 win over the San Miguel Beermen. They must defeat the Pilots in Taoyuan City next month to qualify.
Group B remains competitive, with the New Taipei Kings, Macau Black Bears, and Meralco Bolts vying for the final spot. The Busan KCC Egis were eliminated after losing 89-78 to the Bears on Wednesday.
The Kings could be the only team to make consecutive Final Four appearances, having played in the inaugural finals in the Philippines last March alongside Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters, Seoul SK Knights, and the Chiba Jets.
The Macau Black Bears’ recent win over the Busan KCC Egis keeps their chances alive, although they have already played more games than their challengers. Samuel Deguara led the team with 24 points, followed by Damian Chongqui and Adonis Thomas with 23 points each.
Upcoming matches in Busan and Fukuyama on January 21 and 22 will help determine the remaining spots in the Final Four. The results of these games could determine the teams that will play in the final stage in Macau in March.
