Encore at Wynn Las Vegas becomes COVID-19 vaccination facility

Wynn Resorts has been pivotal in the fight against COVID-19 in Nevada, offering their premises for a number of emergency services

From January 18, the University Medical Center will begin its vaccination process from Monday to Friday, starting with those who are eligible for treatment under the state’s guidelines.

Wynn Resorts has been pivotal in the fight against COVID-19 in Nevada as prior to offering their convention space into a vaccination facility, the casino company offered their premises of Encore and Wynn Las Vegas as a saliva testing lab.

The next step in helping the state recover from the pandemic and protect its people, Wynn and the University Medical Center are working in tandem to turn Encore into a proper vaccination facility.

Matt MaddoxCEO of Wynn Resorts, Matt Maddox (left) said that the decision to offer Encore as a vaccination facility was to help the distribution of the vaccine by making the process efficient and effective throughout Las Vegas Valley.

Maddox also adds that the decision to continue partnering with the University Medical Center comes after their initial successful partnership. He also says how this partnership will act as a “critical step in our state’s economic and health recovery.”

This partnership will definitely help Nevada to edge back to normality slowly and it is very commendable for Wynn Las Vegas to offer their premises for such a good cause especially as cases and deaths continue to rise in Nevada. Below is the situation in Nevada, the US and worldwide as of today (15th January):
