FBM commits $10 million to Philippine software house expansion

FBM, a prominent player in the global gaming sector, has announced a $10 million investment to establish a new software house in the Philippines. This move reaffirms the company’s longstanding commitment to the country, which has been expanding its land-based operations for over 20 years.

Recently, FBM introduced its remote gaming platform, FBM E-Motion, aligning with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation’s (PAGCOR) efforts to modernise the local gaming industry.

Strategic visit to Portugal

The announcement was made during a visit by a PAGCOR delegation, led by Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco, to one of FBM’s software houses in Portugal. The delegation was hosted by Renato Almeida, FBM’s Director, and Pepe Costa, the company’s Philippines Country Manager. This visit allowed PAGCOR representatives to experience first-hand the technology and innovation that FBM employs in its video bingo and slot machine creations.

Almeida revealed that the upcoming Philippine software house will mirror the success of FBM’s current operations in Portugal and Brazil. The new facility is designed to enhance the company’s ability to deliver tailored entertainment products, catering specifically to the Filipino market.
