Gambling.com delivers record performance

Gambling.com continues to benefit from improved operational efficiencies from new technology platforms and is now in a position to accelerate product development and optimisation

Gambling.com delivered a record performance in 20Q2 in terms of revenue, EBITDA, casino NDCs and earned NDCs despite pausing media buying and virtually no sporting events.

The strategy to scale OPEX to invest in superior products and best in class technology clearly bore fruit in the quarter with significant improvements in search performance, monetisation and operational efficiency.

Image previewAs expected, the company saw a decline in sports revenue in the quarter as a result of COVID-19 postponements and cancellations of most sporting events.

However, the decline in sports revenue was offset by increased demand for other online gambling products like casino and poker.

Charles Gillespie, founder of gambling.com said “To achieve a record company performance across every meaningful measure during such challenging circumstances makes me very proud of the team.  With year on year organic growth at 29%, I suspect we have reclaimed from Q2 the title of the affiliate organization with the fastest overall revenue growth in the sector.”

To take advantage of the significant growth opportunities ahead, gambling.com plans to scale up investments in people, content, and products, with a continued heavy focus on the American market, into the close of the year.

The Group continues to benefit from improved operational efficiencies from their new technology platforms. They are now in a position to accelerate product development and optimisation.
