GameSquare partners with GGTech for GAMERGY Dallas 2026

Esports is a booming global phenomenon that’s redefining entertainment, and two powerhouses are stepping up to take it even further in the U.S., GameSquare Holdings, Inc. and GGTech Entertainment are teaming up to launch one of the biggest esports festivals in the world: GAMERGY, which will land in Dallas in 2026.

Overview of the partnership

Based in Dallas, GameSquare Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: GAME) is a media juggernaut laser-focused on gaming and creator entertainment. With a market cap of $22 million and trailing twelve-month revenue of $99 million, GameSquare is positioning itself as a key player in the evolving esports economy.

GGTech is known for organising epic esports events across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, and its claim to fame has been orchestrating over 20 editions of GAMERGY worldwide since 2016. Their University Esports IP reaches over 2,000 universities, 9,000 teams, and 100,000 users, giving them deep roots in grassroots gaming communities—a perfect match for GameSquare’s youth-focused strategy.

GAMERGY Dallas 2026: Esports game-changer

Dallas isn’t just GameSquare’s home turf; it’s a rising star in the esports world. It houses North America’s largest esports arena and big names like FaZe Esports. It’s the perfect stage for GAMERGY’s U.S. debut. Attendees can anticipate a next-level experience. From pro tournaments and celebrity show matches to content creator panels and product reveals, GAMERGY Dallas is shaping up to be the Coachella of esports.

The rising influence of esports in the U.S.

Esports fanship and revenue in the United States are through the roof. With millions of viewers and billions of potential revenues, this market is ready for aggressive action like GAMERGY. GAMERGY is not an isolated incident. It’s the foundation for a bigger experiences strategy that targets market share and propels GameSquare into the high end of the esports media sphere.

Expect dedicated collegiate tournaments, campus activations, and direct engagement with university gaming clubs—a huge win for student gamers across the U.S. With proven success across 2,000+ universities, GGTech’s model is poised to ignite the U.S. college scene with authentic, competitive esports.

GameSquare’s recent business moves

GameSquare is preparing to announce full-year financials and has sold 25.5 percent of its stake in FaZe Media, focusing more on profitability and operational strength. The company also settled its convertible note and ended its equity purchase agreement with Yorkville Advisors, simplifying its capital structure—a savvy move that investors applaud. To top it off, GameSquare secured a $2 million credit facility from the Jones Family to support expansion and received an extension from Nasdaq to ensure ongoing listing compliance.

GAMERGY Dallas will benefit from GameSquare’s partnerships with Riot Games, Epic Games, Activision, EA, and Capcom—ensuring content that fans will love. On the brand side, existing relationships with Amazon, Nvidia, the NFL, and Microsoft bring serious marketing clout to the table.

GameSquare’s CEO Justin Kenna expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the company’s commitment to delivering culturally relevant experiences.

GameSquare CEO Justin Kenna said, “We’re delivering culturally relevant experiences that resonate with the next-gen audience.”

Juan Diego García, CEO of GGTech America, echoed this sentiment, citing GameSquare’s event production expertise as a key factor in choosing to partner for GAMERGY’s U.S. debut.

García said, “We’ve partnered with leading esports organisations across the globe to produce GAMERGY, which has attracted nearly 200,000 attendees in 2024 and through the first quarter of 2025. As we look to expand our efforts to the U.S., we are excited to work with GameSquare to bring GAMERGY to Dallas in March 2026.”
