Former casino executive Graeme Croft has announced that he is “starting a new position” as president for the Asia-Pacific region at table game technology specialist Walker Digital Table Systems LLC.
Croft shared the update on LinkedIn, marking a promotion from his previous role as an executive advisor at the company, a position he has held since September last year.
Before joining Walker Digital, Croft was vice president of table games at Macau casino operator MGM China Holdings Ltd. MGM China was among the first in Macau to implement Walker Digital’s ‘smart’ tables, which utilise radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to track and analyse gameplay data.
In his previous role as an executive advisor, Croft had stated: “Because of my knowledge and familiarity with the system, I’m assisting operators with rolling out the Walker technology.” He emphasised the importance of helping operators leverage data to their advantage and noted that the technology would continue to evolve with new advancements.
Walker Digital CEO Stephen Moore had also praised Croft’s contributions, saying: “Graeme is the ideal person to act in this advisory capacity given not only his familiarity with the product but also his respected real-world experience leveraging systems to successfully achieve strong business outcomes.”
Based in Macau but with a global role, Croft had earlier pointed out that his position aligned well with Walker Digital’s expansion plans, particularly in Macau, where all but one concessionaire was set to roll out the company’s technology over the next year and a half.
His promotion signals Walker Digital’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the Asia-Pacific market and expanding its reach in the evolving table game technology landscape.
