Habanero seals Romanian licence

Habanero, which makes high-end slots and table games, has been given an online license to sell its immersive content to operators in Romania.

After getting approval from the Romanian gambling regulator (ONJN), the games studio Habanero can grow its business in Romania, which has regulated online gambling since 2016.

In Habanero’s well-known portfolio of more than 69 newly licensed games, popular games like Wizards Want War!, Egyptian Dreams Deluxe, Happiest Christmas Tree, and 5 Lucky Lions are among the most popular.

Habanero’s latest certification comes after it recently got an MGA license. This makes it possible for the company to form new partnerships in addition to the ones it already has.

Arcangelo LonoceArcangelo Lonoce, European Head of Business Development at Habanero, had this to say about the accreditation: “We are thrilled that the team’s consistent diligence has been recognised by the regulatory body in Romania, a market which we believe to be one of the most interesting and dynamic in Europe.

“The news will help us further extend our ever-growing customer reach within the region, following on from a series of high-profile commercial agreements with a succession of Southern Europe’s foremost operators.”

The studio has continued its rapid development across Europe and South America by producing some of the highest-quality material in the industry, and is eager to expand on its exceptional performance in 2020.
