Hard Rock International moves into the iGaming industry

Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International have entered a new joint venture in relation to iGaming and sports betting 

The new joint venture, Hard Rock Digital, will use the casino operator’s extensive database as an advantage to offer their services, which includes interactive online gaming and sports betting. 

The Hard Rock Digital will be “fully capitalised by Seminole Gaming, Hard Rock International and its partners, providing full financial backing for this new joint venture.” 

The casino operator currently has casinos in five states that legalised sports betting which are Nevada, New Jersey, Illinois, Iowa and Mississippi. Out of all these states, only Mississippi do not allow mobile betting. 

The team making up Hard Rock Digital will be made up of four well experienced and successful men in the gaming industry. 

The Stars Group ex-CEO, Rafi Ashkenazi, will serve as chairman of the joint venture. Marlon Goldstein, who is also a former employee at the Stars Group, will take on the role of CEO and former head of US operations of Star Groups, Matt Primeaux, will serve as president of Hard Rock Digital. Lastly, Hard Rock International chairman – Jim Allen, will serve as Hard Rock Digital’s charmain.
