Galaxy Gaming, a leading independent game developer and distributor of casino table games and technology, has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with Hasbro, the renowned toy giant behind some of the world’s most iconic games. The deal will see household names — including MONOPOLY, YAHTZEE, and BATTLESHIP — reimagined as live casino table games for players worldwide.
Under the agreement, Galaxy Gaming will hold exclusive rights to develop and distribute casino table games based on these beloved Hasbro brands. The new offerings aim to blend the nostalgic appeal of family favourites with the thrill and strategy of the modern casino environment.
“We are beyond excited to bring some of the best-loved brands to table game players around the world,” said Matt Reback, President and CEO of Galaxy Gaming stated in a press release. “MONOPOLY, YAHTZEE, and BATTLESHIP have thrilled generations, and we look forward to translating that fun into new and entertaining casino experiences.”
Each title will be adapted specifically for live casino play. MONOPOLY is expected to feature innovative property-trading elements at the table. YAHTZEE will introduce its signature dice-rolling suspense into a competitive gaming format. Meanwhile, BATTLESHIP promises strategic and explosive gameplay that blends luck with decision-making.
Claire Hunter Gregson, Director of Gaming Relationships at Hasbro, commented: “At Hasbro, we’re passionate about play in all its forms — from game nights to authentic casino experiences. After an extensive RFP process, we’re delighted to select Galaxy Gaming as our exclusive partner for branded table games. Their expertise makes them the ideal team to bring our iconic brands to casino floors in dynamic and compelling ways. We can’t wait to see what we’ll create together.”
The first games developed under this partnership are expected to be unveiled at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in 2025, one of the industry’s premier trade shows held annually in Las Vegas. Casino rollouts are anticipated to begin in early 2026.
The collaboration marks a strategic expansion for both companies. For Hasbro, it represents a bold entry into the regulated casino gaming space. For Galaxy Gaming, the deal strengthens its portfolio with exclusive branded content designed to engage a wider audience.
Analysts view the move as part of a growing trend among casino operators to licence well-known intellectual properties. By leveraging brand familiarity, the industry aims to provide more immersive and differentiated experiences, attracting a younger, more brand-conscious generation of players.
