The Swedish Government has appointed Senior Lecturer Jenny Cisneros Örnberg to the Board of the Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen). Her term begins on 21 April 2025 and will run until 31 March 2027. This move is part of broader efforts by the Government to enhance the leadership and governance of the country’s gambling regulator.
Cisneros Örnberg, known for her academic and policy work on gambling regulation, brings valuable expertise at a time when the industry faces ongoing challenges from digitalisation and regulatory loopholes.

Jenny Cisneros Örnberg has joined the Board under the continued leadership of Chair Claes Norgren. The existing members Fredrik Holmberg, Madelaine Tunudd, and Therese Mattsson will also continue in their roles.
