Lotte Tour Development Co. Ltd., the promoter behind the Jeju Dream Tower resort, has reported impressive growth in its April casino sales. The company’s casino sales for April reached KRW 32.90 billion (€21.5 million), reflecting a robust 61.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Sequentially, April sales were up by 1.2 percent from March 2025, demonstrating steady growth in casino revenue.

Breaking down the figures further, table game sales were the primary contributor to this surge, totalling nearly KRW 31.15 billion (€21.5 million), which marks a 59.6 percent year-on-year increase. On a month-to-month basis, table game sales grew by 0.7 percent. Meanwhile, machine game sales saw a remarkable increase, doubling year-on-year to KRW 1.75 billion (€1.2 million), with a further 11.7 percent growth compared to March.

While the casino segment performed strongly, Lotte Tour’s hotel sales showed more mixed results. Hotel revenue for April amounted to KRW 7.11 billion (€4.9 million), reflecting a 5.0 percent decline compared to April 2024. However, on a positive note, hotel sales surged by 73.2 percent compared to March 2025, indicating a recovery in this area after a slower start to the year.

Looking at the year-to-date performance, Lotte Tour’s total casino sales for the first four months of 2025 reached KRW 117.45 billion (€80.7 million), up by 29.9 percent compared to the same period in 2024. This growth in sales is mirrored by the rise in casino table drop, which for April amounted to KRW 188.83 billion (€128.5 million), reflecting a 47.2 percent increase from April 2024. Sequentially, the table drop also saw a 19.5 percent rise compared to March 2025.

The overall visitor numbers for Lotte’s casino in April reached 45,753, a 12.5 percent increase from March. Since the start of the year, Lotte Tour has reported a strong start, with notable increases in both casino and hotel revenues.

In January, the integrated resort’s casino revenue had reached KRW 29.4 billion (€20.1 million), marking a 23.2 percent increase year-on-year and a 24.8 percent rise from December 2024.

Table games dominate the scene

Similarly, Table games were the primary contributor, generating KRW 28.1 billion (€18.9 million), up 27.2 percent from the previous month. However, machine game revenue experienced a slight decline, totalling KRW 1.28 billion (€0.9 million), down 11.5 percent from December but still 13 percent higher than in January 2024.

Hotel revenue also showed positive growth, amounting to KRW 5.53 billion (€3.7 million), a 7.5 percent increase year-on-year and a 0.4 percent rise from the previous month.

This indicates strong demand for the resort’s gaming services, suggesting that the company’s recovery continues as tourism to Jeju Island remains robust.
