Light & Wonder has opened a new office and showroom in Clark, Pampanga, reinforcing its commitment to the Philippines and the broader Asian market. The facility, located on Manuel A. Roxas Highway, spans 580 square metres and serves as a strategic hub for the company’s regional operations.

“Our new showroom in Clark is a game-changer for Light & Wonder in Asia,” Siobhan Lane, CEO of Gaming at Light & Wonder, said in a statement. “Strategically located in the heart of the Philippines’ gaming industry, this showroom strengthens our ability to collaborate with partners and demonstrate our commitment to the region.”

Enhancing market presence and talent attraction

The company said that its expansion in Clark is part of its broader regional growth plan, which includes offices in Manila and Singapore. The company added it aims to improve customer access to its gaming products through state-of-the-art showrooms and a software burn room in the Philippines. In partnership with distributor RGB International, the Clark office will play a key role in product operations and talent acquisition.

In its report, Inside Asian Gaming quoted Lane saying that the company believes Clark is a great location to attract talent and build a team because it invests in more resources. Lane further said that the move also expands Light & Wonder’s footprint.

Regional expansion and plans

With its regional headquarters in Macau, Light & Wonder continues to grow its presence across Asia. The Clark and Singapore offices act as key support hubs for sales and operations, complementing the company’s existing facilities.

Lane emphasised the importance of the new office as a demonstration of the company’s long-term commitment to the market. Light & Wonder executives, including CEO of iGaming Simon Johnson, Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Glenn Huybrecht, and Vice President of Strategic Development for Asia Ken Jolly, attended the opening event. PAGCOR officials, including Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco, were also present, underscoring the importance of the company’s expansion to the Philippine gaming industry.

With 80 employees already in the region, Light & Wonder is actively hiring to support its continued growth and strengthen its market presence in Asia.

In November 2024, PAGCOR reported that the Philippine gaming industry posted a 37.52 percent gross gaming revenue (GGR) surge by e-gaming boom in the country. Tengco credited this growth to technological advancements and the widespread adoption of mobile gaming platforms.
