MGM Resorts welcomes former Aristocrat executive as Chief Customer and Innovation Officer

Daniel Yang to lead global consumer strategy and digital transformation efforts

Having previously served as CSO of Aristocrat Daniel Yang brings extensive experience to MGM.

Former Aristocrat Chief Strategy Officer Daniel Yang has been appointed as the new Chief Customer and Innovation Officer at MGM Resorts. The decision is aimed at bolstering the company’s global consumer success strategy by focusing on optimising growth and profitability through the integration of digital technology and enhancing the guest experience.

Having previously served as CSO of Aristocrat starting in February 2019, Daniel Yang brings extensive experience from the gaming industry, having also held key positions in other gaming-related companies, such as Ardent, a gaming and eSports group, and Viacom (now Paramount), a major media giant.

MGM Resorts’ CEO, Bill Hornbuckle, expressed his confidence in the hire, stating that Daniel’s leadership will play a crucial role in driving organic growth through various avenues like sales, marketing, loyalty programs, and product development.

Daniel Yang himself expressed enthusiasm for the new role, highlighting that both the company and its leaders are committed to positioning MGM Resorts as the premier gaming entertainment company, catering to all customer segments and becoming the preferred destination for entertainment and gaming experiences.
