Octoplay enters Italy with Microgame

Online casino games developer Octoplay has entered the Italian online gaming market via collaboration with B2B gaming service provider Microgame. This marks another addition to the list of collaborations with major operators as Octoplay continues its expansion in Europe.

The partnership entails that the company’s games will now be available to Italian players through Microgame’s network of more than 50 licenced operators. The initial launch will see Octoplay’s 10 most-popular titles being available, including Eggsponential, Shaolin Panda Chaos Reels, and Buffalo Smash. These titles will be offered exclusively on Microgame’s network for the next six months.

Octoplay’s growing demand

The casino games developer’s entry into the Italian market highlights the growing demand for its premium gaming experiences. The partnership marks a strategic move to establish and further strengthen its position in important regulated markets. The company currently has active licences in Malta, Sweden, Romania, Greece, Ontario, and the UK.

Ralitsa Georgieva, director of business development at Octoplay, said, “Our partnership with Microgame marks a strategic step in Octoplay’s European expansion. We’re excited to bring a selection of our most popular games exclusively to the Italian market through Microgame’s extensive network.”

Marco Bedendo, general manager at Microgame, said, “As a leader in the Italian online gaming sector, we’re excited to offer Octoplay’s innovative games exclusively to our network. Our Italy-specific omnichannel platform, combined with Octoplay’s content, will enhance the entertainment experience for players across our partner network. This collaboration aligns with our commitment to technological innovation and flexible, tailored solutions for our operators.”

The company is in the middle of a streak of partnerships with major operators as part of its expansion throughout Europe. It has recently collaborated with various major operators to enter different markets, such as Nike to enter Slovakia and NetBet to go live in Mexico.
