While Omarsys claim that it has no intention of shutting down, a spokesperson for the company said that the name may change
The Online tracking software company, Omarsys, specialising in affiliate tracking, media tracking, affiliate performance tracking, affiliate management software and many other sectors, is reportedly leaving Malta.
Omarsys’ employees might face redundancies if the company decides to shut down its B2B services.
SiGMA News was informed that the company will likely retain the name Omarsys for internal purposes only.
When SiGMA News reached out for a comment, a spokesperson for the company stated that while Omarsys will definitely not shut down, the name of the company could face changes.
One of Omarsys’ partners, who has been working with the company for two years and wishes to remain anonymous, told SiGMA News “We trusted them and decided to give them a chance, switching all our services to Omarsys. It’s shocking to find out that after two years they abruptly decided to shut down their B2B services.
‘At the moment I’m trying to look for another platform but at the end of the day it takes time to find a proper platform, negotiate deals and migrate all of the players from one platform to another – so obviously it’s problematic for us.”
According to the anonymous spokesperson all Omarsys’ partners were sent notice of termination.
