Gaming companies in Southeast Asia have moved up the rankings in the 2025 edition of the Fortune Southeast Asia 500, with the Philippines making a strong impression. Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, DigiPlus Interactive, and Alliance Global Group all saw significant jumps on the list, driven by rising revenues and expanding operations.
This is the second year that Fortune has published its Southeast Asia 500 list. The ranking evaluates companies across seven countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia. Companies are ranked based on total revenue reported in the most recent fiscal year. In total, 40 Philippine companies were included in the 2025 edition.
Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, operator of the Solaire brand, climbed 17 spots in this year’s rankings to reach number 289. The company attributed its improved position to increased revenue from its latest property, Solaire Resort North, located in Quezon City. Opened in July 2024, the resort caters mainly to local customers and extends the brand’s reach to northern Metro Manila, as well as Bulacan and Pampanga provinces.
Bloomberry reported total revenue of US$921 million in 2024. Among the 40 Philippine companies included in the list, Bloomberry ranked 32nd.
The Philippines’ DigiPlus Interactive recorded the largest leap in this year’s Fortune Southeast Asia 500. The company rose from 482nd in 2024 to 223rd in 2025, with a reported revenue of US$1.31 billion. This marks an increase of nearly 168 percent year-on-year, making it one of the fastest-growing companies in the region.
DigiPlus, formerly known for its digital entertainment platforms, has significantly expanded its reach in online gaming and interactive content, contributing to its sharp growth.
Alliance Global Group, which operates Newport World Resorts in the Philippines, also saw its ranking improve. The firm moved from 100th in 2024 to 92nd in the 2025 list, supported by revenue growth to US$3.9 billion. The group continues to maintain a strong presence in the local gaming and hospitality market.
Malaysia’s Genting Group secured the highest rank among gaming companies in the region, coming in at number 53 with US$6.06 billion in revenue. This is a one-place rise from the previous year. Genting operates major integrated resorts across Malaysia and Singapore, contributing to its strong financial performance.
Cambodia-based NagaCorp, operator of the NagaWorld complex in Phnom Penh, improved its position from 449th in 2024 to 418th in 2025. The company reported annual revenue of US$562.5 million, representing a 5.5 percent increase compared to the previous year.
