Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) is certain that next year will bring significant growth for its gaming and tourism operations.

This is due to China’s anticipated reopening, which would spark a massive wave of retaliation spending.

Kevin AdrewAGI Vice Chairman and CEO Kevin Tan noted that, “China is now starting to open up. Hong Kong is always the starting point. That gives you a signal of where China is going. And, I think, when that happens, the Philippines with its very prime location, we can expect we’re really in the right place to accept that second wave of better revenge spending and travel from the Chinese tourists.

He explained that, China“is always the largest source market for quite a number of ASEAN countries. China has a very strong market and, next year, we will be able to see that.”

AGI is the largest hotel operator in the nation. Through Travellers International Hotel Group Inc., AGI manages a casino and a number of hotels.

He stated in an interview that the company is now capitalising on the expansion of consumer spending in the gaming and travel industries.

Tan asserted that they have already surpassed their pre-pandemic GGR (gross gaming revenues) by a significant margin and that next year would be highly successful. AGI anticipates what they refer to as the second wave of the Chinese market’s pent-up demand.
