Pixel Companyz partners with Groupe Partouche for Japan IR bid

French casino company Groupe Partouche will join forces with Japanese group Pixel Companyz to develop new Japan IR featuring a casino, hotels and conference facilities

Pixel Companyz Group has announced a new partnership with Partouche Group a French company for Japan’s Integrated Resort bidding.

According to a press release sent by Pixel on Friday, the two companies will plan, develop and operate ‘Japan’s premier integrated resort’ along with other unnamed partners.

Pixel Companyz group said: ‘We aim to create a unique integrated resort in Japan to highlight the country’s tourism assets, food culture, unique brand and hospitality culture.’

However, Pixel Companyz did not claim exactly where it will conduct the IR bid, but given the small scale of its proposed development, the most likely location will be in Nagasaki.

Partouche Group, operating 42 casinos in Europe, has briefly signed a preliminary memorandum with Oshidori International Holdings, which is listed in Hong Kong, to seek an IR bid, but terminated the partnership in May  ‘due to the vision and strategic difference’. Since then, it has been seeking bids in Nagasaki.

Prior to working with Partouche, Pixel had revealed that it had reached a capital and business alliance agreement with TTL Resorts, which the company said would bring extensive experience in data analysis and investment to the gambling industry.

Pixel Companyz is a company that is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and is engaged in various businesses, including gambling, sports betting, financial technology, solar facilities and resort development.
