On 20 February, leading gambling provider Playtech announced a new long-term partnership with BVGroup. As part of this agreement, the BetVictor and Heart Bingo brands will be integrated into the new Playtech Bingo platform. This vital partnership aims to strengthen Playtech Bingo’s position as the UK market leader.
BetVictor and Heart Bingo get the opportunity to join the most extensive liquidity pool in the market, which the Playtech network possesses. Their games are familiar to bingo players, and their experienced product and network management team will provide them with ongoing support and advice to ensure the success of this partnership.
In addition, specialised content games from Eyecon Studios, which Playtech also owns, will be added to Playtech’s bingo platform. The studio is known for its bingo slots, such as Fluffy Favourites. Playtech and BVGroup are already running major marketing campaigns for their best-selling games.
Marat Koss, Vice President of Interactive Gaming at Playtech, is delighted to welcome BVGroup to the Playtech Bingo network. It is a strategic move for the BVGroup to move its product to a new cutting-edge platform. Koss looks forward to working with the BVGroup team to maximise the potential of the Heart Bingo brand, one of the most successful and well-known in the industry. Going forward, the company plans to strengthen its position as the largest B2B network, and Koss is pleased that BVGroup shares its vision.
For his part, Dale Fenton, Head of Casino at BVGroup, welcomes the strengthening partnership with Playtech and the opportunity to utilise their industry-leading bingo platform. Fenton is confident that Playtech’s extensive network and expertise will enhance and expand the group’s offering to players. This is an exciting new chapter for BVGroup, concludes Fenton.
Alongside classic games, Playtech’s strategy includes an innovative approach to consumer protection. Late last year, the company entered into a multi-year partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (IGI UNLV) to utilise new technologies to create a more sustainable gambling environment.
Founded in 1994, IGI UNLV provides research-based solutions, cutting-edge ideas and executive education to the global gambling industry. This collaboration will use artificial intelligence and machine learning to promote and support safer and more responsible gambling.
Specifically, Playtech has funded an IGI project to explore the use of AI to train chatbots to encourage safer gambling behaviour among sports bettors. The company has also participated in the IGI Centre for Innovation’s Gaming Internship Programme.
