Global slot game developer Playzia has entered the German iGaming market through a new partnership with the slot division of Staatliche Toto-Lotto Baden-Württemberg, known as Erwin. The agreement brings Playzia’s popular slot titles to the Erwin platform, marking a significant step in the company’s international expansion strategy.

Key slot titles now available on Erwin

Under the deal, Playzia will integrate a range of its most recognised games into the Erwin platform. German players will now have access to slots including Billionaire Rhino, Caishen’s Coins, T-Rex Treasure Hunt Megaways, and Knights the Siege.

The partnership aims to enrich Erwin’s game library while offering Playzia a regulated and high-profile entry point into Germany’s developing online gambling market.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Erwin to introduce our extensive library of games to a broader audience,” said Vlad Modorcea, Chief Product Officer at Playzia. “This market is strategically important to us, and through this collaboration, we aim to bring our signature game innovations and top-tier content to players who crave a high-quality, dynamic gaming experience.”

Shared focus on compliance and player protection

Executives from both Playzia and Erwin have welcomed the collaboration, noting aligned priorities around player protection, innovation, and full compliance with Germany’s regulatory framework.

Barbie Nerz, Head of Online Games at Staatliche Toto-Lotto GmbH Baden-Württemberg said, “We’re happy to announce our new partnership with Playzia – their fresh and engaging games are a fantastic addition to our portfolio! This collaboration not only broadens our current offering but also ensures that our game selection stays dynamic and exciting going forward.”

Germany’s gambling sector has been undergoing regulatory reforms to strengthen oversight and licensing. A recent decision by the Federal Administrative Court ruled against the use of IP blocking by internet service providers to limit access to gambling sites, shaping the legal environment further.

Broader global strategy underway

The Erwin agreement follows a series of international moves by Playzia. In recent months, the company launched operations in the UK, Brazil, and Romania. Certifications are also in progress in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland, as the company targets more regulated European markets.

In parallel, Playzia announced a new partnership with Greek operator Novibet, aimed at boosting visibility in Greece’s regulated market. This collaboration also supports Playzia’s wider strategy to tap into Novibet’s presence in additional licensed territories.

Games live on SlotMatrix via EveryMatrix deal

In another key milestone, Playzia has joined forces with iGaming technology provider EveryMatrix to distribute its content through the SlotMatrix aggregation platform. The integration allows Playzia’s slot games to be offered by licensed operators in multiple regulated jurisdictions across Europe and beyond.

This partnership enhances Playzia’s distribution capabilities, making its titles accessible to a wider network of casino operators seeking fresh, certified slot content.
