S8UL to compete in five games at Esports World Cup 2025

S8UL, India’s largest esports and gaming content company, is making history by competing in five games at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025. This marks a new milestone for Indian esports, placing it on the world map. EWC 2025 will be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between 7 July 2025 and 24 August 2025. The initial batch of titles includes Chess, EAFC 25, Tekken 8, Call of Duty (COD): Warzone, and Apex Legends, with additional titles and the full rosters to be announced over the next few weeks.

The Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC) is a high-profile international esports competition featuring 24 elite titles, an enormous prize pool, and a global stage for esports organisations. With the largest prize pool in esports history and the opportunity to claim the Club Champion crown, the EWC 2025 is an inaugural event that has the potential to revolutionise competitive gaming.

S8UL will compete in five major games: Chess, EAFC 25, Tekken 8, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Apex Legends. This combination of games highlights S8UL’s diversity, competing in strategy, fighting, FPS, and battle royale genres.

S8UL released an announcement video starring trendsetter BeYouNick, stoking interest and intrigue and mobilising the fanbase. S8UL will be running an enormous pan-India campaign spanning 20+ cities, pushing fans closer to the game action with unique behind-the-scenes goodies and IRL activities.

The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has announced the 40 esports clubs accepted into the 2025 EWCF Club Partner Program, with a $20 million investment, the programme offers up to $1 million to each club for creative content and marketing campaigns leading up to and during the Esports World Cup 2025. Notably, S8UL has been selected as a Club Partner, marking a historic milestone as the first and only Indian team to earn this prestigious honour.

EWC 2025: A festival beyond gaming

The event goes beyond esports, offering entertainment, fan activations, and pop culture integrations, making it the biggest gaming festival on the planet. The Esports World Cup 2025 is set to be the “best esports tournament ever,” said Faisal bin Horman, Chief Product Officer of the Esports World Cup Foundation, during an interview with Arab News at the Sports Investment Forum.

Speaking on the Esports World Cup 2025, he commented: “This year will see the best esports tournament ever, for anyone who loves gaming or esports. Online or physical [audiences], they will have the best time of their life.”

With an unprecedented prize pool, EWC 2025 offers a golden opportunity for esports organisations, including the coveted Club Champion title. Saudi Arabia is heavily investing in esports, aiming to be a dominant player in global gaming, as seen in its hosting of major events like the first-ever Esports Olympic Games in 2027.
