By acquiring Second Spectrum’s valuable network of more than 400 sports organisations, Genius has upgraded its already vast collection of league clients with respectable partners including the English Premier League, the National Basketball Association and Major League Soccer.

Second Spectrum uses AI and computer vision technology for accurate analytics, and has even made use of augmented reality features in football and basketball fixtures. The technology will enable Genius to enhance their streaming capabilities and to offer new and improved services.

The merger is expected to be completed by Q2/21.
