SiGMA Americas Awards: São Paulo sets the stage for LatAm’s top innovators
Firing off tomorrow’s conference and expo in style, the fourth edition of the SiGMA Americas Awards set the tone with a dazzling gala evening, a highlight of which was the appearance of Ronald Lopes to pick up Best Affiliate 2025.
Held at the sophisticated Tokio Marine Hall in Vila Cruzeiro, São Paulo, the ceremony celebrated excellence across 26 categories, honouring standout achievements in areas such as affiliation, media, and game creation. Winners were selected through a combination of public votes and expert input from a panel of judges representing various corners of the industry. These included Itai Hadas (CEO, VELI Group), Mario Fiorini (Director & Co-Founder, IGA Group), Roger Strickland (Director, CSB), Emilio Takas (Head of SEO, Kingbet Media), Alessio Crisantemi (Managing Director, GiocoNews), Vincenzo Armato (CEO & Founder, Adv Revolution), Olga Resiga (CBDO, SOFTSWISS), Eugene Ravdin (Head of PR, SEOBROTHERS), and Michelle Dvorak (Owner & CEO, MetroNY).
The evening opened with a lively reception, where a live band set the mood before guests were ushered to their seats. Throughout dinner, traditional Brazilian dancers, drummers, and acrobats added a vibrant splash of colour and culture to the night’s festivities. Hosted by Maxine Formosa and Mark Borg, the SiGMA Americas Awards were generously supported by BETCONSTRUCT, a leading technology and service provider for both online and land-based gaming sectors.

SiGMA Americas Awards – Eco-conscious events
Setting a new benchmark for eco-conscious events in Latin America with the launch of its ambitious ESG initiative, the Sou Resíduo Zero Programme, spearheaded by Eccaplan – a sustainability consultant, aims to dramatically reduce the environmental impact of the event through innovative waste management strategies and sustainable practices.
The initiative will be implemented across key dates of the event – including the SiGMA Awards this evening. Central to the programme are daily waste collections, ensuring efficient separation and responsible disposal of materials throughout the venue, composting, and recycling.
