Solaire Resort North, a premier integrated resort in Quezon City, has announced a two-year sponsorship deal with South Korean golf sensation Ina Yoon. The agreement marks a strategic move for Solaire, aligning its brand with one of the sport’s fastest-rising talents as she begins her journey on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour.
Current Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Player of the Year Ina Yoon has become a household name with a dominating 2024 season. She took home the KLPGA Jeju Samdasoo Masters in August and tallied four runner-up finishes, three third-place finishes, and 14 top-10 results.
The company managing Ina Yoon’s marketing department shared the following on Instagram.
Her incredible performance earned her the coveted Triple Crown, topping the KLPGA Tour in earnings, points, and stroke average. These records have made Yoon a force to be reckoned with as she makes her move to the international stage of the LPGA Tour.
The sponsorship agreement was sealed at Solaire Resort North’s Skybar, where Yoon donned the Solaire logo, representing the tie-up. This partnership gives Solaire international brand visibility since Yoon plays in tournaments worldwide in 2025 and 2026.
Solaire, one of the Philippines’ major gaming and hospitality companies, views this alliance as a means to increase its global visibility. Yoon’s inaugural tournament with the sponsorship, the Founders Cup in Bradenton, Florida, last month, is the start of Solaire‘s presence on the LPGA Tour.
Expressing her gratitude, Yoon said, “I’m truly honoured to partner with Solaire, a brand that has consistently supported the world’s top players. I sincerely thank them for believing in my potential and supporting me as I embrace this new challenge. I am committed to continuous improvement, striving toward my goals, and excelling on the LPGA Tour.”
South Korea remains the Philippines’ top source of international visitors, significantly contributing to the country’s tourism and gaming sectors. In 2024, nearly 1.6 million South Korean tourists arrived in the Philippines, accounting for 26.4 percent of total visitor arrivals.
