World-leading gambling technology company Playtech partners up with AMC Network
The Walking Dead slot will soon become a thing, as a partnership between Playtech and AMC Network will see the faces of the survivors from one of the world’s major zombie television series take on online casinos across the world.
Playtech is known to be the leading gambling software provider of the world, offering both B2B and B2C services in various verticals.
Other brands owned by AMC and WE tv will be included in the deal as well, enabling Playtech to set up an entirely new collection of online gaming products and engaging software services with well-known external content.
The new games will arrive in Playtech’s online casinos in 2022, while certain games might even arrive as soon as late 2021.
Most successful US cable series
The Walking Dead can be expected to be a particularly attractive franchise for various games, as the series is the most successful in US cable history.
Since the 2010 debut, eleven seasons have aired, along with a collection of video games, spin-offs and, of course, the original comic books.
Over the past years, a large community has grown around the group of survivors, which has seen a notoriously frequent change of the cast, as any episode could see the death of a beloved character.

The Walking Dead Slot hails the series’ grand finale
The time is ripe to farm the fruits of the series’ success, as the first episode of the final season will be aired Sunday, August 22 on AMC. It is a logical move for the AMC Network to grant Playtech the access to their registered trademark in order to boost media presence before the final day arrives.
