Ukraine sets licensing conditions for gambling activities

Licence conditions in Ukraine have been drafted according to the law of Ukraine on state regulation of activities on organising and conducting of gambling activities. The licensing conditions set up a definitive list of documents and requirements that must be submitted in order to obtain a gambling licence during proceedings.

Ukraine gamingIn accordance with part three of article 45 and part one of article 47 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On state regulation of activities for the organization and conduct of gambling’ the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine have decided on and approved the Licensing conditions for carrying out activities in the field of organisation gambling and conducting gambling in gambling establishments, in the halls of slot machines, bookmaking activities in sportsbooks and online; as well as online poker activities.

These Licence Terms apply to all legal entities carrying out activities in the field of gambling as well as those going through the license acquisition process.

Documents to obtain licences are accepted by the Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission at the choice of the licenser.

The opportunity for the public to participate actively in the formation of gambling and lotteries is key to achieving the highest assessment in the implementation of state reform on the legalisation of gambling.
