VBET named first official poker operator in Ukraine

VBET has reached an agreement to become the first licensed online poker operator in Ukraine

VBET’s move into the Ukrainian market was approved on May 31, 2021, after the company received approval for Online Poker and Online Casino licenses from the Ukrainian Gambling and Lottery Commission (KRAIL).

The global betting and gaming operation, powered by BetConstruct, has also obtained an online casino license in the Eastern European country.

Gambling in Ukraine has been legal since 2020 after its parliament adopted an organizational and conduct law to align with the European gambling industry.

VBET’s entrance into the regulated Ukrainian market is an important strategic step on the way to expanding its global presence across the globe and delivering responsible gaming to Ukrainians.

In Ukraine, VBET will operate under the VBET.ua domain name.
