Virgin Hotels Las Vegas aims to stand out from their competition by not charging resort fees

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is set to open on the 25th of March. In anticipation of their opening, Virgin Hotels has also announced that they will not charge any resort fees to visitors, in a bid to stand out from their competition.

Las Vegas is an already saturated market when it comes to hotels and casinos, therefore Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is thinking of new competitive advantages that can be applied to their operations – with the absence of resort fees a main feature.

Virgin Hotels charges no resort fees - SiGMA NewsGuests will also be able to enjoy complimentary parking and free Wi-fi spanning across 1,500 rooms.

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, located off the strip, prides itself on their ‘customer defense’ motto and therefore, none of their properties will charge this resort fee.

The hotel will be an integrated resort with three hotel towers, the 60,000 square-foot Mohegan Sun Casino, a five-acre pool which will include multi-functional events, an entertainment theater and 24 exhibition halls that can hold 4,500 and 650 people respectively.

The opening of the integrated resort comes at the perfect time as it seems land-based casinos and hotels are edging back to normality with Caesars Entertainment registering their highest level of bookings since Las Vegas reopened.

CEO of Caesars Entertainment, Tom Reeg, stated that in January and February there were a number of encouraging signs regarding bookings, as they registered a 20% month-on-month increase.

This type of news would be welcomed by Virgin Hotel Las Vegas who are looking to establish themselves among the top players in the Las Vegas strip.
