Malta-based iGaming developer Wazdan has entered into a deal with Jacksonville-based Fanatics Casino launching simultaneously in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Why this partnership matters?

Fanatics is known for its dominance in the sports merchandising world, but its digital casino arm is quickly gaining traction. With a sleek app and integrated sportsbook-casino ecosystem, Fanatics Casino is positioning itself as a top-tier player in regulated markets.

The strategic Wazdan-Fanatics Casino partnership is aimed at shaking up the US gaming ecosystem that is already at a saturation point. The businesses intend to capitalise on each other’s strengths—Wazdan’s engaging content and Fanatics’ enormous reach.

Kieron Shaw, Senior Content Manager at Fanatics, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. He stated: “Partnering with Wazdan helps us expand our casino offering with content that’s proven to drive player engagement. We are excited to see the response to these games and proud to offer them across multiple states through both Fanatics’ sportsbook and casino apps.”

Simultaneous triple-state launch

Wazdan went live in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania all on the same day. This shows the synergy between Wazdan and Fanatics’ tech teams. While New Jersey gets the full buffet of 58 Wazdan titles, Michigan and Pennsylvania users start with a curated trio: 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Hot Slot: 777 Crown, and Magic Spins. Additional games are queued up—7 more in Michigan and 6 in Pennsylvania—ensuring a steady stream of fresh content.

Bekki D’Agata, Commercial Director at Wazdan, commented: “The triple-state launch with Fanatics marks a major milestone for us in the US. Going live simultaneously in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania is a first for Wazdan and a testament to the strength of our partnership and our commitment to this key market.”

What’s next for Wazdan and Fanatics Casino?

The US online casino market is booming, with states such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan leading the charge by offering fully regulated iGaming environments. Wazdan’s move into this market is a major step in the industry. West Virginia is already on the radar for expansion, and additional states will likely follow as regulations continue to change.
