WynnBet get the green light to operate online sports betting app in Tennessee

Wynn Resorts’s WynnBet has been granted conditional access to carry out online sports gaming activities in the state of Tennessee

The Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation‘s board of directors have reportedly approved Wynn Resorts’s online sports betting brand, WynnBet, to begin operations of its online sports betting app in the state of Tennessee subject to regulatory and stationary requirements.

Tennessee is now the ninth state that the sports brand WynnBet has secured market access to, in addition to New Jersey, Colorado and Michigan. Tennessee became the first state in November last year, to permit mobile and online wagering without any land-based tethering requirement.

Following this approval, the sports brand has also applied for licensing in Virginia.

The operator is expected to make a launch later on within the year in Indiana, Nevada, Massachusetts, Ohio and Iowa.
