In response to the rapid growth of e-commerce adoption in Brazil and the challenges faced by online shoppers, Zimpler, is determined to streamline the payment process and enhance customer satisfaction. According to a recent study conducted by Zimpler, a staggering 47% of online shoppers in Brazil abandon their purchases due to issues related to the processing of e-commerce payments.

Both events served as a platform for industry leaders, including Zimpler’s Co-Founder Johan Friis, Chief Growth Officer Nicolas Köllerstedt, and Head of iGaming Rhi Burns, to discuss the expansion of Malta-based iGaming companies to Brazil and Zimpler’s pivotal role in supporting them.

With the establishment of a dedicated Growth team, Zimpler has firmly positioned itself in the Brazilian market. Speaking at the press meeting, Nicolas Köllerstedt, Chief Growth Officer at Zimpler, emphasised the importance of digital payments in today’s global landscape, stating, “All payments will be digital; payments are global. It’s crucial to understand our customers and stay connected with their needs. We are committed to following our customers and providing them with tailored solutions.”

Johan Friis, Co-Founder of Zimpler, expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s expansion into Brazil, affirming their dedication to applying their expertise and knowledge to the region. “If you want to truly succeed, you need to have a local presence. Highlighting the significance of building relationships, he added, “Being local is important; people prefer to do business with people. Establishing a connection is key.”

At the exclusive Sky Club evening event, Zimpler captivated the attention of more than 200 esteemed guests.

During the evening party at Sky Club, Zimpler captivated over 200 distinguished guests. The event commenced with a captivating speech from Johan Friis and Rhi Burns, Head of iGaming, as they welcomed attendees into an immersive experience symbolizing the beginning of an exciting journey. The club was ingeniously transformed into thematic areas, each reflecting the vibrant essence of Brazil.

Zimpler recognises the potential of Pix, the instant payment platform launched by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2020, as a game-changer in the industry. Pix enables swift and seamless execution of payments and transfers, becoming an integral part of online transactions in the country. To leverage this innovative platform and address the pain points experienced by businesses and customers alike, Zimpler is actively integrating with Pix through authorized third-party providers in compliance with the regulations established by the Central Bank of Brazil.

By integrating with Pix, Zimpler aims to significantly reduce friction points that can lead to customer churn and lost revenue for businesses. Currently, the payment flow in Brazil involves approximately 10-15 steps, hindering conversion rates and customer loyalty. Zimpler intends to cut this process in half, allowing for instant settlement with retailers. Such a streamlined payment experience positively impacts conversion rates and strengthens customer loyalty.

Rhi Burns, Head of iGaming at Zimpler, highlighted the significance of finding the right Pix provider in Brazil. She emphasized that Zimpler offers a unique solution for European companies looking to enter this exciting market. With established expertise in money transfers with Latin America, Zimpler provides a comprehensive suite of services, including Know Your Customer (KYC), custom branding, and Anti Money Laundering (AML) monitoring. These features make Zimpler faster, safer, and more flexible than any other options currently available in the market.

Zimpler’s expansion into Brazil marks a significant milestone for the company as it continues to strengthen its global presence. With an initial team of four employees, Zimpler plans to rapidly expand its operations in Brazil, catering to the growing demand for innovative payment solutions. The company’s commitment to instant transactions and robust fraud prevention measures further solidifies its dedication to providing seamless and secure payment experiences for its customers.

Zimpler’s integration with Pix, coupled with its commitment to providing unparalleled services, positions the company as an ideal partner for businesses seeking to optimise their payment processes, expand into Brazil, and forge strong connections with local customers. By reducing friction and offering a secure and efficient payment experience, Zimpler is driving the growth of e-commerce and fostering business success in the Brazilian market.
