Chris is very experienced in providing high-value, complex, software solutions for companies with fast-evolving needs within the iGaming sector. His know-how focuses but is not limited to: Sales policies, Account Management, iGaming operations, and legislation, online gambling workflows (both casino and sportsbook), Business Analytics as well as Trading & Risk Management. Chris holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the National Technical University of Athens as an Electrical & Computer Engineer while he has working experience in various iGaming companies such as Altenar, Playson, and EveryMatrix before taking over the Chief Commercial Officer role in BETBY.

“What I do as a Business Development Manager is to identify new business opportunities, new partnerships, new markets, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product and service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets. The ultimate goal is to exploit these opportunities to generate more revenue.

In my opinion, to analyze potential new business opportunities to be seized, very good quantitative and analytical skills are needed, as well as a good knowledge of each business and industry sector.”

Then, in 2016 he was Head of Sales and Accounts for Playson in Malta.

Playson is a dynamic new gaming company.

The company provides solutions for online and land-based gaming partners. The casino, slot, skill and social games use advanced HD graphics and new technologies.

For 2 years he worked at EveryMatrix in Malta as Sportsbook Business Development Manager and then as Regional Business Development Manager.

EveryMatrix is an independent company providing award-winning software solutions to the iGaming industry.

It was founded in 2008 with the aim of creating a fully flexible and bespoke software solution for operators while working with high-profile iGaming partners.

As Sales Manager Chris has been responsible for:

-Identify new opportunities within the online gaming market to introduce EveryMatrix’ sports betting product and services.

-Reporting on all activity to the Sales Director and management team.

-Maintain and retain all current pricing and advertising for the production of agreements and quotations.

-Negotiate tenders and contracts directly with potential, new and existing operators;

Propose and improve go-to-market strategy for target markets.

-Attend all relevant trade fairs, conferences, and networking events as required.


Today he has the role of commercial director at BETBY:
