Christoph Leitgeb is a partner at DSC and has many years of M&A experience, in particular in private equity, MBOs, start-up financing and venture capital. Christoph Leitgeb advises his Austrian and international clients on the structuring and implementation of M&A transactions upstream of reorganizations, joint ventures, and the development and implementation of incentive and compensation systems for employees and executives in the context of ESOP, participation models in the form of virtual shares and sweat equity.
In his work, Christoph Leitgeb’s consulting focus is predominantly on software development and software as a service solutions (SaaS), healthcare, leisure experiences and entertainment, as well as gaming.
Christoph Leitgeb, who represents numerous Austrian and foreign sports betting and gaming operators both in regulatory and licensing matters as well as in player lawsuits before courts and in connection with taxes before tax authorities, is one of Austria’s leading attorneys in the field of gaming and sports betting law.
In addition to his doctoral studies in law, he also completed his diploma studies in biochemistry at the University of Vienna. He has been involved in numerous research projects in the field of biochemistry and genetic engineering at various research institutions.
Christoph Leitgeb is the author of numerous publications in his field and lecturer for banking and finance law at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna.
