Ivan Filletti is the Head of Operations and Business Development for the Gaming Malta Foundation since almost seven years. Together with the GamingMalta team, he stewards the strategic direction of the Foundation ensuring that Malta retains its status as Home of Gaming Excellence. Prior to joining GamingMalta, Ivan was CEO for the advertising agency, TBWA/ANG across both Malta and Greece. He was instrumental in leading his team to win significant business accounts including Bank of Valletta and servicing blue chip clients such as McDonald’s, Nissan and Mr. Green.
During his tenure, the agency gained international recognition for a McDonald’s Quality campaign and Nissan brand positioning for Malta.
Filletti has also held senior marketing roles in the private sector focusing on beverage and retail specifically with Simonds Farsons Cisk pls, Malta’s largest brewer.
GamingMalta is an independent non-profit foundation set up by the Government of Malta and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). Tasked with the remit of promoting Malta as a centre of excellence in the digital and remote gaming sector globally, it is also responsible for liaising with the local relevant authorities to improve Malta’s attractiveness as a jurisdiction and enhance the ecosystem surrounding the gaming industry.
GamingMalta is committed to: promoting ownership of the Malta brand among all stakeholders to strengthen Malta’s position with the gaming industry. Engaging with stakeholders and providing business support to ensure that Malta is the most attractive environment for the gaming industry to thrive. Standing out through innovative ideas and leading the iGaming industry through research and promotion of the Maltese jurisdiction so as to be a proactive, dynamic catalyst for change. Accelerating growth in the gaming sector by creating a dynamic marketing mechanism anticipating market changes. Bringing stakeholders together – ensuring close cooperation while creating business and networking opportunities for firms working in the sector. Establishing the necessary expertise and foresight to future proof the gaming sector in Malta. Supporting the MGA in implementing the brand strategy and road map development for the gaming industry. Collaborating with other Maltese sectoral promotion bodies to promote the overall image of Malta.

Finally, Med-Tech World united the medical professionals of many disciplines to combine their keen minds and inexhaustible passion for a better tomorrow with the entrepreneurial spirit of investors who also dream of a world free from disease and cancer.
The Week also saw many a networking dinner, speaking panel, drink gatherings and other opportunities for our hard-working delegates to unwind. A few highlights include the awards that congratulated those whose dedication, skill and acumen made them a leading figure in their industry as well as the fact that the conferences where graced by titans such as John Karony, Nolan Bushnell, Djibril Cissé, Akon and Mark Blandford who was awarded an Outstanding Contribution of the Year award for his pioneering work in the iGaming industry.
