Luca Esposito currently serves as WLA Executive Director – a position he will retain while assuming the duties of GLMS General Secretary.  GLMS remains an independent entity and all appropriate controls and governance will be in place to ensure integrity of operations and data collection/management will be upheld.

Luca Esposito holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and Telecommunication from the University of Calabria. He has been a technological consultant to various major global concerns, including Accenture and Cambridge Technology Partners.

He began his career in the lottery sector in 2009, when he joined IGT as Technology Director for central Europe. Here, he served the technological needs of gaming-industry clients in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg. In 2013, Luca was promoted to Country Manager for IGT, responsible for servicing the state lotteries of Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Recognized for his vast knowledge of lottery and gaming technology, and his deep understanding of the unique needs of the state-authorized lottery and betting sector, Luca was recruited by the WLA, where he has served as Executive Director since November 2018. As of January 1, 2022, Luca additionally assumed the role Executive Director of the Global Lottery Monitoring System.

Luca Esposito has overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of a company’s income statement (profit & loss – P&L responsibility).
Luca oversees all of the firm’s marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. He is also responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision making to attain desirable profit making results for the organization.
Luca manages the relationship with the client of the accounts they are assigned to.

AIBC brought together the pioneers of a bright new age of emerging technology ready, able and willing to be the vanguard of Tomorrow. Other than just the established names, we also hosted many an entrepreneur seeking to expand the frontiers of AI and the Blockchain ever forward.

Finally, Med-Tech World united the medical professionals of many disciplines to combine their keen minds and inexhaustible passion for a better tomorrow with the entrepreneurial spirit of investors who also dream of a world free from disease and cancer.

The Week also saw many a networking dinner, speaking panel, drink gatherings and other opportunities for our hard-working delegates to unwind. A few highlights include the awards that congratulated those whose dedication, skill and acumen made them a leading figure in their industry as well as the fact that the conferences where graced by titans such as John Karony, Nolan Bushnell, Djibril Cissé, Akon and Mark Blandford who was awarded an Outstanding Contribution of the Year award for his pioneering work in the iGaming industry.
