Ramona Azzopardi
Ramona Azzopardi is heading the Tax and Private Client Department of WH Partners. She regularly advises corporate clients in the gaming & gambling, financial services, digital services industries on their cross-border tax implications. She also assist HNWI families in estate and tax planning. Ramona holds a Doctor of Laws Degree and Masters in Financial Services from the University of Malta. Ramona is a regular speaker at tax conferences and often contributes articles to prominent publications. She is also Council Member at the Malta Institute of Taxation.

She is Malta’s National Reporter for the IBA (International Bar Associate) Taxes Committee.
Prior to joining WH Partners in 2014, Ramona worked at Fenech & Fenech Advocates, where for seven years she was a tax lawyer assisting clients in tax matters in relation to Gaming, Aviation, Shipping, Financial Services and ICT.
Ramona is a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation, Chamber of Advocates and the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners where she also serves as committee member on the Taxation Sub-Committee. Ramona is frequently invited to speak at various tax conferences and has contributed to a number of international tax publications.
