Steve Ketteley

Steve Ketteley is a partner and the co-head of the Betting & Gaming Practice at Wiggin. Steve is a commercial, regulatory and technology lawyer and he concentrates on advising clients on all operational and regulatory aspects of their businesses, with a particular expertise in the infrastructure of on-line gambling and gaming industries. Steve Ketteley acts for operators and suppliers alike by drafting, negotiating and advising on matters such as intellectual property, software licensing and development, white-label supply agreements and affiliate arrangements and advises on the regulatory aspects of corporate transactions and the corresponding issues affecting investors, lenders and intermediaries. Clients include operators, software suppliers, financial services providers, investors and, generally, stakeholders in the online gambling industry.

Prior to working at Wiggin, Steve Ketteleyis was a partner at DLA Piper from August 2011 to December 2015. From 2006 to 2011 he was a partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner. From September 1998 to May 2006 he was a partner at Ashurst. Steve  is also a general member of the International Masters of Gaming Law.

Steve is noted in legal directories such as Chambers and Legal 500 as one of the “leading people” advising the interactive gaming and betting sector and described as “a true expert in the online gaming sector”. He first advised on gaming matters in 2003 and has worked exclusively in this area since 2005.
