“Events like SiGMA are absolutely critical” – D. Einhorn, CXSports

Dom Einhorn, Founder of CXSports joins the latest series of affiliate interviews on Affiliate Grand Slam

Dom Einhorn is one of the 300 affiliates that AGS is flying to SiGMA Malta – follow his story below.

How long have you been in this industry?

28 years! I still remember my very first affiliate marketing campaign (back in 1994) for the Liechstenstein online lottery. We have managed hundreds of campaigns since those days across a variety of ventures and initiatives.

What brought you into the affiliate world?

In the early affiliate marketing days, I befriended one of the first affiliate marketing managers for Intertops (now “Everygame”) and we drove customer acquisition efforts for that brand via affiliate channels. Later, in the mid to late 90s, we became a top 1% affiliate for many e-merchants including Amazon, eBay, Expedia, and countless others. Affiliate marketing has always been in our DNA.

What are you expecting to get out of the event?

In a word, networking. It’s sometimes hard to break through the clutter via email, LinkedIn, or other channels, especially when it comes to communicating our unique value proposition to operators. Events like SiGMA are absolutely critical when it comes to creating deep and meaningful relationships between affiliates and operators, in addition to being a huge timesaver, with everyone in one place at the same time.

What are you most looking forward to and why?

The ability to discover new products and new trends that we – as multi-lingual content marketers – can capitalize on. In addition to getting some important face-to-face time with existing partners.

Which websites and products fall under your portfolio?

Our flagship web sites consist of CXSports.io in the sports and gaming vertical and Born2Invest.com in the finance vertical. We also run a number of ancillary initiatives that are still in beta currently.

What makes your traffic proposition/traffic sites unique?

We have been producing organic content at scale since the mid-nineties. We still live and operate by the same motto today, with a hard focus on content marketing units that scale and convert user intent into actions and transactions.

Have you ever been to SiGMA before?

Yes, twice since 2015.

Tell us a bit about yourself – after all, business is done with people, not just companies! Your hobbies, favourite book, favourite quote, whether you are into Gaming yourself, etc.

One of my favorite reads of all time is psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Norman Doidge’s, The Brain that Changes Itself. This book has had a profound impact on my life. When I grew up, I devoured virtually every book ever written by French novelist, Jules Verne. His books taught me that every achievement is possible in life if you set your mind and effort to it.

My favorite quote? “Winners Never Quit, and Quitters Never Win!” This quote was against my office wall for the better part of 15 years.

My favorite hobbies are reading, great movies, and working out. I am not a big gamer myself as I just don’t find enough time in a day to do it all.

I was born and raised in Alsace, France, but have spent the better part of the last 30 years in the US (California, Wyoming, and Texas mostly).
