SiGMA Africa 2024: Explore SiGMA’s Cape Town summit

SiGMA Africa is back for 2024 – and this time we’re heading to Cape Town. To help you navigate the event with ease, here’s a handy guide to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

Plan your trip

Visiting South Africa for the first time? The Plan Your Trip page on the SiGMA website is designed to help make your stay a breeze. From recommendations to travel tips, we’ve got your covered.

The expo and conference takes place at the GrandWest Sun Exhibit – located conveniently within the excellent GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World – also the location for our gala awards and dinner events. Visit our agenda for more information – and don’t forget to RSVP to your invitation to ensure a seat at the table. Check out the full list of all our partner hotels on our website.

No visa is required for tourists and business people staying in South Africa for 90 or fewer days. For a full list of exempted countries and more detailed information, please click here.

Stay in the know

Don’t miss last minute changes – stay up-to-date with all the latest updates through SiGMA’s official social media channels. Join the official SiGMA Telegram Channel by clicking here.

Get ahead of the game

Pre-registration will be available to delegates at the Jackson Hall – GrandWest Complex from 14.00 to 22.00. Have your ticket handy, a digital version is enough and don’t forget to have a form of identification with you. Join the networking drinks and break the ice with fellow delegates from 18.00pm onwards.

Stay connected

  • The currency in Cape Town is the South African rand, which is shortened to ZAR or simply R.
  • Power sockets: South Africa uses a unique type of plug and socket known as the Type M, which has three large round pins in a triangular pattern. If you plan to travel from Europe to South Africa, you will need a plug adapter to use your European devices.
