Singapore’s gaming revenue hits €3.6 billion in 2023 

The combined gaming revenue of the two integrated casino resorts in Singapore surged to SG$5.25 billion (€3.6 billion) in 2023. 

Gaming Intelligence reported this increase is due to the strong final quarter of last year. 

The report said during the fourth quarter, gaming revenue surged by 56%, reaching SG$1.42 billion (€974 million), with Marina Bay Sands outperforming Resorts World Sentosa during this period. 

Marina Bay Sands saw an impressive 84% surge in gaming revenue, totaling SG$741 million (€508.1 million) in the fourth quarter.  

Meanwhile, Resorts World Sentosa experienced a 19% increase, reaching SG$441.0 million (€302.1 million) in gaming revenue for the same period. 

For the entirety of 2023, Marina Bay Sands reported gaming revenue of SG3.60 billion (€2.5 billion), while Resorts World Sentosa earned SG$1.65 billion (€1.13 billion). 
Overall, Singapore witnessed a 47% uptick in annual gaming revenue for the year. 

Genting Singapore’s revenue also up

Last week, Genting Singapore reported it recorded an 80 percent year-over-year increase in its net profit with SG$611.6 million (€421 million) recorded in 2023. 

According to the company, the company also saw a 40 percent year-over-year growth in revenue with SG$2.4 billion (€1.66 billion) and experienced a 36.6 percent year-on-year increase in the cost of sales amounting to SG$1.5 billion (€1.01 billion).
