Bangkok police arrested 19 suspects of illegal multimillion Dollar gambling website
Following an investigation of the illegal gambling website PGSLOT889.com, 19 suspects were arrested in a Bangkok condominium, according to Chiang Rai TImes. Arresting officers estimated the monthly revenue to be as high as US$3 million, and seized 8 computers, 30 monitors, 27 phones, 7 bank account books and 17 ATM cards.
Nonetheless, investigators believe the three rooms of Pinklao River Park View condominium Bangkok’s Noi dist0rict did not hold the entire capacities of the operating platform, and will extend investigations further.
The 19 people arrested are currently being held in custody and will face gambling charges. Apart from the Thai lottery and betting on horse races, all gambling is prohibited in Thailand.
