An exclusive interview with Reza Shojaei

Reza Shojaei, founder of Value Marketing and CasinoTop, shares his vision for transparency in the iGaming industry

Reza Shojaei is the founder of Value Marketing, a Norway-based international iGaming company, and CasinoTop, which is a casino affiliate site. He has extensive experience in iGaming, and today, has forged a successful business. Shojaei works tirelessly to provide top-notch services while expanding CasinoTop.com to cover multiple countries.

CasinoTop is taking over the world

CasinoTop.com is an international iGaming site that provides reliable and transparent information about trustworthy online casinos. It also offers tips, news and guides for players to read, so they can expand their own knowledge about the industry. 

Reza, tell us a little bit about Value Marketing and CasinoTop

‘In Norway our sister company has two of the biggest magazines: Fremtidens Byggenæring and Samferdsel & Infrastructure. Journalists and storytelling is something I have worked with throughout my career. I have also played poker and online casino for over 15 years, so it was natural for me to get involved with the iGaming industry,’ Reza Shojaei explains.

‘For me, testing new online casinos is something I really love to do in my private time and I saw that there was a big demand for good content driven sites in this field. Our copywriters have a lot of experience in the iGaming industry and they are regular online casino players. For us, it is very important to have objective editorial content so the users can feel safe,’ he adds.

Which countries do you currently cover?

‘Value Marketing is an up-and-coming iGaming lead generation company; we currently have offices in Norway, Malta, Israel and Bali. We have two big casino-related sites in the iGaming industry: Norway’s biggest casino affiliate site CasinoTopp and CasinoTop.com, which covers multiple countries. Under CasinoTop.com, we have Canada, Finland, India, Germany, Spain, Japan, Denmark, New Zealand, UK and South Africa.’

And how did you get started with CasinoTop.com?

CasinoTop.com was actually the domain where 888 launched one of their first online casinos back in 1999. When I saw that the domain was up for sale, I had to buy it. We have big plans for this site. We want to take over the world with great content and good SEO,” he says.

“I have been a customer in the iGaming industry for over 15 years and I love playing poker and online casinos, so for me, it was not hard choice to start a business in iGaming. Our vision is to put our readers first, so they get best information about which online casinos they should use,” he adds. 

How do you see the future for iGaming?

Value Marketing is an up-and-coming iGaming lead generation company.

“In the past years, we have seen many new casinos come and go, and I think we will see this more in the future. It will be harder for operators to get the attention from players as most of the online casinos out there are just the same. I think more unique concept and better marketing will win players. Also, for affiliates, I hear a lot of talk about the US market and India market. We have been taking over some of the other markets early on, like Canada, India and Japan,” Shojaei says.

“The more we can provide information that is objectively written, like real honest reviews of the casinos and know-how, the better it is for all casino players.”

Reliable and trustworthy

It seems that CasinoTop and Value Marketing are taking over the world one step at a time. As Mr. Shojaei states, it is important that players have reliable and trustworthy third party sources they can turn to, when it comes to choosing online casinos. 

The future of iGaming in general looks bright and the popularity of casino games is on the rise. Networking and building long-term relationships between casino affiliates and online casinos will allow better communication between the casino sites, affiliates and players. And this, ultimately, is beneficial for everyone, and gives the industry a stronger chance to grow.
