This rating reflects the company’s resolution to stay at the forefront of conserving the environment

MGM’s latest integrated resort in China , MGM COTAI has attained a Three-star Green Building Operation Label. This is the highest rating under the “China Green Building Label” certification scheme, from the China Green Building and Energy Saving (Macau) Association.

Pansy HoCo-Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, Ms. Pansy Ho, stated, “Environmental Protection is the core value of MGM’s sustainable development. From the project design of MGM MACAU to MGM COTAI, we have always been striving to be the best-in-class green buildings. MGM COTAI’s Three-star Green Building Design Label formed the bedrock of our company-wide endeavor to go one step further.

With comprehensive sustainable development strategies, effective use of materials, green practice, energy saving and emission reduction initiatives, the mega complex of MGM COTAI gained the highest rating in operation category for merely over two years after its opening. MGM COTAI has become the only mega complex and hotel in Macau to gain three-star certification in both Green Building Design and Operation Label.

The achievements have also brought MGM COTAI the glory of being the first hotel in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and second in Greater China to receive the certifications.
